The Death of Jesus Christ on the Cross

What does it mean to you about the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross? Does it matter to you deeply? That God have so much love to you?

In Romans 6: 3-6

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

The death of Christ had the purpose. The purpose of GREAT Salvation to each one of us in this world. Because Salvation is Available to Everyone, and can never be altered by anyone who are in EVIL works.

IN THE EYES OF GOD

His(Jesus Christ) death on the CROSS paid the penalty of our SINS that separates us from GOD . That we(SINNERS) will be like Christ in the EYES of God and will be SINLESS and RIGHTEOUS.

That we(SINNERS) have dropped off our wickedness and our Sinful Nature(the Old Man) and was cleanse. That our Sinful Nature and being in the lust of the flesh is DEAD and we were revived as a NEW Creation(Holy Nature).

If you read further on Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."


Our sins will never remember by God once we are to believe on the death of the Son of God(Jesus Christ). That we are saved by his death and cleansed by his blood.

Jesus Christ is the TRUE LAMB


John 1:29 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."


If you have read the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, you will find out that God requires the sinner to OFFER SACRIFICES. He requires every people to give burnt offerings once they commit sins.


Genesis 8:20 "And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar."


God Commanded the Offerings


Exodus 20:24 "An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee."


Everything about Offerings and Sacrifices from the Old Testament was manifested and was ended/accomplished by the TRUE LAMB that was crucified to paid all the Sins of the World. After then, NOTHING will be worthy to GOD, even your good works least you will believe in the SON!

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

His GREAT LOVE and MERCY unto us SINNERS is not shortened. Our sins are already paid through the death of Jesus Christ. For us MAN(SINNERS) can't save ourselves from SIN through good works. Because  we are all an UNCLEAN THING! Read Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Didn't you noticed why you still unsure of your Salvation even you did many good works? That's because you haven't believed and received Jesus Christ as your savior.

YOU are SAVED by GRACE

Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"


Ephesians 2:9 "Not of works, lest any man should boast."


You are saved because of the death of Christ on the Cross. You are not saved and you cannot be saved by your good works! BELIEVE first on the NAME of Jesus Christ and BELIEVE on what HE hath done from the cross for you and RECEIVE HIM as your GOD and personal savior!

If you are not Saved today and has not yet received Christ Jesus as your PERSONAL SAVIOR, then the best time to take action to receive HIM is NOW! We both don't know when will our time comes, it's either in the next year, month, weeks, minutes, seconds or milliseconds...

Salvation is For Everyone!

It's a sad FACT that many people think that Salvation is just for chosen people and can't be attained by many. It's not TRUE! Everyone(meaning ALL) of us are offered a true Salvation from God through Jesus Christ the SON. Indeed, Salvation is AVAILABLE to ALL WHO BELIEVE and RECEIVE in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST. NOT BY WORKS and BY LAW!


In John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

I guess most people already heard this word, but don't really understand the TRUTH and the TRUE meaning of this. And don't believe on this word and on the simplicity of it! Don't we need simple Language?

In John 3:18 says: "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Note: The RED verses I quoted above are spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ as seen in the Bible.

The message is so CLEAR. But why so many that doesn't care and believe? Just one of many reasons is because, people might been anchored and can't leave from their VICES and of being SINNERS(DRUNKENNESS,LUST,BEING THIEF,ADULTERERS,MURDERERS and more). Another great reason is because, they Don't know what is in the package of Salvation. How about you? Do you know the what is it to be saved? Can tell on yourselves that you are saved? And are you sure you will BOUND to HEAVEN when you DIE? If you're unsure of the answer, then you're not a SAVED person and you haven't received the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior!

The PACKAGE of SALVATION

I said it's "Package" because, our salvation is composed of many "GREAT Things" that God giveth unto us as GIFT. The GIFT that can't never be seen and can't never be touched by our physical body. It's a gift for our SOULS to save us from the place of TORMENT(HELL)!

Our Church's Pastor just shared this wonderful message today in our church that I was so blessed and so eager to share everything he preached through this blog. He entitled the message as "So Great Salvation!" that helped us so much to understand what is it to be saved?

He share to us the 5 Wonderful Things that are included in the package of salvation and the reason he entitled the message - "So Great Salvation".

I pray for you to have the ZEAL(enthusiasm) and the striving attitude of seeking God's mercy. That way, you'll surely understand the true meaning of salvation.

So here are the 5 Wonderful Things included in the package of salvation.

1. It includes the Forgiveness of our SINS.
2. It includes the PEACE of God
3. It includes the Dwellings and Abiding of the Spirit
4. You are declared RIGHTEOUS by GOD(not by man).
5. Your name is written in the BOOK of Life.

As you can see, if you just see it clearly by not reading through your eyes but by your heart(you know what I mean.) - don't be PILOSOPO!(I forgot the English word of it.)

To let you understand better and plant it into your hearts, let's discuss them further.

It includes the Forgiveness of our SINS.


We are all sinners! Nothing is righteous living in this world. Even the POPE and the PRIEST and or the PASTORS, they are all sinners. In Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"


If any of them or anyone in this world says He or She is righteous and doesn't commit sin, they are not of GOD and they are telling that God is a liar. Romans 3:10 says: "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"


Let's Talk about SIN


Do you know the penalty of SIN?
A clear statement from Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The penalty of SIN is DEATH, the death that separates us from God and will bring US to HELL(the place of the gnashing of TEETH). That is if we will not BELIEVE in the Son of God which is Jesus Christ.

Our Lord Jesus Christ suffered, sacrificed himself and died on the CROSS to pay the penalty of our sins! Can't you imagine how precious is your Soul to God? In which Jesus Christ was crucified and died for you?


Yes, God want everyone in this world to be saved and to go to heaven. The problem now are those who DON'T BELIEVE and those NONE HEARERS of the Gospel!

And another VERY SAD FACT is that, those who don't believe gives a great murmuring, even Persecutions on Believers! Why just sit on your own and stand on what you believed? Oh, I know...because that's the work of EVIL! 


On John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."


As you can see on that particular verse from the Holy Bible, the WRATH of God is upon them that who don't believe in the Son of God. That word is so terrifying that we believers have the most of our FEAR! A fear far more than the persecution and death on this earth!!!

In Romans 8:1  "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."


This literally and obviously means, once you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and do things that are pleasing to God, you are free from the WRATH of God.

It includes the PEACE of God

As you may know, every creatures in this earth have its own trouble. Job 14:1 "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble." Nothing was born without burden in life. We are burdened of many problems, in many things and in different people. We hardly see peace! But when you accept Jesus Christ deeply from your heart, you will surely FIND PEACE of GOD.


Isaiah 57:20-21 "But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked."


Job 9:4 "He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?"
- If you are thinking of your Earthly prosperity, that's because God ENABLES YOU! If you think you did all that by your own STRENGTH, you are FOOL! God owns our STRENGTH and our LIVES, we have to pay for it! If you think you have all what you need in above this Earth, then why you are Still Not Satisfied?

Romans 5:8 But "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:9-10 "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

God has the POWER to get all the things that you have! And once He will do that and you haven't known HIM and the Son Jesus Christ in your life, you'll surely commit SUICIDAL THREAT that MOST PEOPLE DO when in BIG Troubles! The WRATH of GOD is UPON all those who DON'T BELIEVE in the SON of GOD.

But if you have Jesus Christ in your heart, you will find PEACE of God.

The one who is Satisfied in this World is not the One who has the MOST but who NEED the LESS. 
-And you can only find Satisfaction with Jesus Christ!


Philippians 4:6-7  "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

It includes the Dwellings and Abiding of the Spirit


Once you are SAVED, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and will guide you of the TRUTH. If you read on John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." The Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus Christ when He departed from the earth to guide us and to teach us of the things He want us to know.

You are declared RIGHTEOUS by GOD(not by man).

Once you are SAVED you'll be righteous in the eyes of GOD. Man don't have the right to JUDGE you of what you are of the PAST, because GOD has FAR more GREATER than man's understanding.

In Acts 13:39 "And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses."


He SET ASIDE the LAW of MOSES to whom who BELIEVED in the name of the SON - JESUS CHRIST.

You are now JUSTIFIED by his NAME and REDEEMED YOU from your SINS. You now have the LIGHT(guide) that will show you the path of RIGHTEOUSNESS. John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."


Romans 3:19-20 "Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God."


Philippians 3:9 "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"


Your NAME is Written in the BOOK of Life.


Luke 15:20 "And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him."


Philippians 4:3 "And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life."
Rev 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Once you are SAVED, you are SURE to BOUND in HEAVEN. And if you are NOT SAVED, your SOUL is absolutely can't be redeemed by PRAYER from this EARTH. GOD give you the ABILITY(ENABLES) to ACCEPT the TRUTH while you are Here LIVING on EARTH. Once your BODY is DEAD above the EARTH, NO PRAYERS can save you FROM HELL! Remember that!

Heb 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"


IF YOU WERE TAUGHT that you can go to HEAVEN by PRAYERS of OTHERS, YOU are HEARING THE FALSE DOCTRINE! And that wasn't written in the Bible, I am sure of THAT!

AVAILABLE FOR ALL

I Timothy 2:3-4, 6 "3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.


SALVATION is not the same as the MANSIONS in EARTH that FEW are ABLE to have. It's not the same as the FERRARI Cars that so FEW can AFFORD. It's not LIKE a DREAM that you EVER wanted to REACH but YOU'RE NOT ABLE.

SALVATION is FREE and FOR ALL that BELIEVED and ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST as their GOD and SAVIOR.
